I bought a digital coax cable for my CD transport to DAC. I think the cable looks and feels like a really good quality product. The cable was well packaged and delivered quickly. It was just £30 with free postage in the UK. I think it easily matches a competitor product I have that cost me £90. I'm very happy with it, and I'll be looking at Mark Grant cables first from now on. Edit...I switched the Mark Grant cable to my Node 2i streamer, to connect with my external DAC. I use Qobuz for hi Res music. I noticed a few songs, not all, where I was getting audio dropout, I say drop out but it was more like silence with the occasional burst of static. I switched the cable back to my Chord Clearway coax and no dropout. The files that wouldn't play using the Mark Grant cable were 192khz 24bit. So, I'm happy to use the MG cable on my CD transport but it doesn't seem to have the bandwidth for 192/24 files. Had to reduce my rating accordingly.

I purchased one of Mark’s HDX 1 phono-BNC 1m Digital Co-ax leads two weeks ago to replace a 1m phono-phono lead connected via BNC adapter from my Audiolab 6000 CDT to my Chord Qutest DAC, having been a customer of Mark’s for many years I knew the cable would be of the highest quality both performance and construction wise, what I found was staggering to say the least !!!! Straight away the sound was transformed, everything was better, clearer, more detail, open sound, deeper , tighter bass, but musically it was much better, detail previously masked became audible, even my other half commented she could hear the difference!!! Just to put this in context the lead it’s replaced cost ten times the cost, a very good Atlas Mavros cable which itself is no slouch Buy with confidence, a fabulous product😎🎶🎶🎶

I have purchased numerous mains cables from Mark over the years, most recently the Black Series power cables and mains distribution blocks, each time Mark has kindly discussed some custom requirements I had (namely length and swapping to Rhodium plated termination). Delivery and communication is always swift and clear and I consider the quality of the workmanship to be excellent. Does it make a difference to the sound? Perhaps so and I certainly think it's a process you should undertake with any HiFi, along with other upgrades. I find the balance of price and quality makes Mark Grant Cables a worthy choice and highly recommended.
