Great little garage tucked away in a back alley. Mark was helpful, well-informed, and did the jobs I asked for at a reasonable price without issue. Look no further for getting routine motorcycle maintenance done locally. 👍 Knocking a star off, unfortunately. I asked for a breakdown of the work done and charges; expected practice at any reputable garage and useful for maintaining a service record. Mark said, "We don't do that. That takes time." Comes across as sketchy. 👎

I've got to Mark 1 as a last resort for problems with my engine's crankcase. Mark was commited on finding a solution different than replacing the full engine block. Fortunately, he managed to solve it for a fair price. I fully recommend Mark 1 Motorcycles. Be sure to call in advance as they are normally quite busy.

5th visit to this place, its exactly what you need in a workshop... a knowledgeable mechanic who wants to get you back on the road. Mark even talks me out of doing some types of work that he deems unnecessary, thus saving me money. Honest, reliable and fairly priced.

The other day, I had a nail puncture in my rear tire after a trip. Luckily, Mark was able to squeeze me in on very short notice. Within 20 minutes after I phoned him I had my bike at his garage and he got to work right away and had my tire fully repaired in just under 2 hours. On top of that, I asked him for advice about a clutch issue on a separate ocassion, which he could have easily charged me for, but he was fair and professional and didn't charge me at all. I was really impressed by his and the other younger guy working with him (sorry, didn't get his name!) exceptional service and would highly recommend Mark for all your motorcycle repairs. Scooter sold as running perfectly. Not the case! Once warmed up bike was spluttering and wouldn't restart. Carburetor was dirty and there was a holed centre manifold and defective choke that I had to get repaired later. Guy seemed nice enough but didn't reply to messages after the sale.

These guys are good. Sorted my bike cheap enuf. Admin and organisation needs attention tho. My invoice looked like it was written by a child in crayon. Lol. Wrong address on it. Inaccurate info all over it. Not that it matters really but makes for difficult accuracy keeping records of your bike. Their relatively new tho and can see this place doing well.
