I have been purchasing here for 4+ years now, in the lovely shop almost weekly, only disappointment was that I haven't gotten a invite to a Christmas dooo yet. Staff are all lovely and helpful. They don't always have everything you could need but will order anything they don't have in for you. My favourite shop in maldon along with reeves!

Trade at your peril! waited for product to arrive only to be told (when i contacted them) that they have no stock nor likely too, complete waste of time. Do not sell product that you don't hold physical stock of, you are not hedge fund managers!, it prompts customers to leave reviews, product is available direct from OEM, you're just being lazy

Belated review from first UK Covid lockdown. I wanted some marine paint to paint my external garage and front doors. I called the shop with a few questions and they were super helpful with the answers provided. I didn’t know whether to buy a smaller amount or larger amount as I was unsure on required number of coats - they suggested smaller, and place a 2nd order if required, to save me money. I was placing a “mail order” order including delivery and when they heard my address was within 5 miles of the shop they said don’t worry a member of staff will drop the order off onto your doorstep, with no delivery charge. I ended up needing a second order and once again it was hand delivered. Real old-school ‘nothing is too much trouble’ service. This is the sort of local specialist shop we should all be supporting. Highly recommended.

Poor basic stocks held and quite expensive. Wasted trip to buy mooring ropes and few basics. The offered to order in, but I would of hoped they would have basic equipment in stock. They had nice gifts in stock though
