I just want to say Thank You to all the staff from my heart for your all patience and kindness and who are currently looking after my dear brother Brendan McCartney. I would like to give a special mention to Alec the Nurse from Rawanda who has given exceptional patience and care to my brother and who also made sure he has all the football times for the world cup. Over all a big Thank You from the McCartney family xx

Spent 5 days here with my beautifull wife and the staff were brilliant . Sadly 1 staff member was poor when dealing with our teenage children ( harriet) but the rest were perfect. Access to gardens helped with a bit of space. My wife passed away here very peacefully with us at her side - that was priceless. Also have to mention Carol from McMillan - an absolute angel who helped us no end and even arranged our wedding. Angels do walk the earth

My husband was brought here from Heartlands two days before he died. The contrast was incredible. Here he was listened to, treated with respect, and so was the family. After a week of being treated as a nuisance for sitting at his bedside, holding his hand, at Marie Currie we were made welcome, at all times. The atmosphere is calm, and everyone completely understood how he felt, and how we felt.
