Always tidy and clean, appreciate the hard work of the staff and volunteers who support the shop and the community. I'd encourage them to put more items out as they have a large stock and space to display. I donate and buy here regularly.

I live around the area and have come here various times. I’ve almost always found something nice and prices are appropriate for second hand stuff (unlike the Crisis shop down the road), everyone was nice & polite. Not sure if other reviewers came on a bad day but don’t quite understand the low ratings

Waiting outside to go purchase something I had seen the other day. Still not open even when they are supposed to and I can see someone in there. How can you run a charity shop like this?

Very low attitude experience. I came in around a month ago and bought a small pet carrier along with other items. The lady behind the till asked if i have a hamster. I told her i rescue rodents and have hamsters, mice and rats. She then made a disgusted gesture and said 'ew.' Now this is not just sad to see from a fully grown woman thats old enough to be ny grandmother, its also extremely unprofessional. On top of that, she had asked me? If she wants to dictate people's answers, she should not be asking. Sad to see behaviour as such, especially in a charity shop. I will not come back, obviously.

Good charity shop. I would say the pricing is lower than other charity shops on Upper Street. There is often an excellent selection of literary fiction at bargain prices.

I am not from London so I can not comment on changes as described by others. What I can say is that in 3 weeks in the city I visited many second hand shops and this is the one with the lower prices for female clothing. All items are in good condition and I could not complain about the staff.

Books £1.25 good price but that' all that got my attention. The shop assistant could have done with some customer service training on how to greet a customer properly though - eye contact and hello would have been nice!
