From the moment I read Margo’s philosophy on her website I knew she was the right designer for me – ‘a luxurious but practical wedding dress that expresses the personality of the lady that wears it, without necessarily serving other people's perceptions or traditions’. That’s exactly how Margo works – she took all of my ideas on board, combined them with her own creativity, created the perfect vision and turned it into reality – my gorgeous 3-piece wedding ensemble. Her patience and pragmatism were invaluable as we searched through endless fabric shops looking for that perfect shade of silver, the not-too-flowery beading, and when I found the ideal trim for the neckline she adapted the design around that and added it to the cape (which I’ll wear forever). She was responsive to all of my requests, never compromised on quality, and negotiated the best prices on my behalf. When I showed her the jeans I was going to change into for the evening, she whipped out a needle and thread and stitched the extra lace from the top onto the pockets. Margo was absolutely brilliant to work with – her flexibility and ‘can-do’ attitude made the process so much easier and fun than I could have ever anticipated, and I couldn’t have asked for a more stunning result. Her sole objective is to make you look and feel amazing on your wedding day – and I did. Thank you Margo!!

From start to finish, Margo was a pleasure to work with. She is an extremely talented dress designer and was able to turn my unclear description of what I wanted into a gown that felt very "me". She made suggestions that I would never have thought of and introduced details that I didn't realise I would have loved so much - such as the lacework and beading. I first contacted her because it's clear from her website that she can design and make a wide range of very technical designs. While I wanted a loose flowing dress, it is great to see how much experience Margo has at creating more structured styles. The end result was a unique, beautiful dress that I felt comfortable in all day. Thanks, Margo!

Margo is amazingly talented and made what can only be described as the dress of my dreams a reality. She made the entire process so simple, from advising on fabrics right through to the smallest of details during the fitting process, such as adding a loop on the train which meant I could hold it up when walking un-aided. On my special day, the dress not only fit like a glove but the attention to detail made it a showstopper which everyone commented on. I only wish I could wear it every day! Margo is first and foremost an amazing designer and dress maker. She recently made my wedding dress, and I couldn't be happier with the finished result. I enjoyed the process from designing the dress together, to buying the material, to changing the design a bit, to having it fitted, and having it fitted again with the finishing touches. Margo was helpful, flexible and relaxed every step of the way. What I thought would be a daunting task actually turned out to be really enjoyable!
