No photos are allowed inside the eclectic mix of exhibits set in a former police station and magistrates court. It includes information about the wars, local sandals, and entertainment in the local area.

We visited Margate museum today and what can we say wow! What an amazing experience, the displays are interesting and informative however what really made it for us were the guys inside. The staff were so friendly and were full of extra information and interesting facts about not only the things on display but Margate itself. This has been the highlight of our whole trip. We would 100 percentage recommend.

Super place to learn about local history, some parts of Margate that have gone, and other places like Dreamland that are very much still here. Great value entry fee. Limited opening hours out of season so check before making a special journey.
