Friends and family are very good in that they provide that instant shoulder to cry on and don't judge. However, they are also too close to you and your situation to be objective when that is what is needed. Margaret provided that objectivity with absolutely no judgement and allowed me to "let it all out" in a neutral, safe and confidential setting. Margaret doesn't provide answers or advice, that is not her job. Rather she makes you think about things from every possible angle and offers suggestions such that you actually provide your own answers. My time with Margaret was much needed and has proved invaluable in allowing me to think positively about the past, to cherish the memories but to now look forward to make the most of life for that is what my late wife would have wanted. As one philosopher said: Don't dwell in the past there is no future in it" I simply cannot say thank you enough to you Margaret and it is so reassuring to know that you are only a phone call away should I need you. As things turn out in life it’s hard to continue , I never thought that I would find myself considering speaking to a grief councillor let alone opening up to one . Ur as my circumstances changed I thought there would be no harm in talking to someone after the loss of my late wife . This is we’re Margret came in , she she really helps me with my feelings and my grief , she was so understanding and had all the right knowledge to help me in my situation. I am so glad I continued with the counselling as I it helped me enormously , Margret gave me focus and got my mojo back and For that I’m so grateful . If anyone is dwindling whether or not to speak with a councillor, especially Margaret I’d say definitely do it , it is so worth while . Scott

Well what can I say.... I was optimistic about having counseling.. I always thought i would never need it and it was all rubbish. How wrong was I. Margaret is an amazing lady and fantastic her job and she has helped me deal with the loss of loosing my husband. She has taught me how do get through each day as it comes and not be ashamed of having bad day's or good days. Little things I can do do re adjust my life and carry on. Please don't listen to the stigma of having counseling is not true and reach out to someone like Margaret. I promise you it will be worth it.

I reached out to Margaret one night as I felt my life was foggy, wasn't going the way I expected, transitioned out the military into civilian life and felt really lost. After having multiple meetings with Margaret to air things that were on my chest, I feel back to my happy, positive self and excited for my new transition. Margaret is brillaint at listening and opening my eyes to how other people think! Thank you for everything Margaret. All the best :)
