Good selection of books butknow what you want before you go in so you dont have to ask the staff a question. I have never felt someone look so annoyed with a simple β€œDo you have this artist book” question. And beyond the look to respond with something along the lines of β€œIs it worth my time to look?” as a verbal response is actually embarrassing

Cool bargains to be found! Helpful staff too. Perfect place to browse after or before visiting the Tate (across the road). Not all the items stocked there are necessarily art books either. Some curiosities can be discovered too. The shop's secondhand section seems to be the wooden troughs at the front window, which are a great source of inspirational material if you're creative. There are vintage journals, rare magazines, illustrated catalogues and mono-graphs.

The staff create an uncomfortable atmosphere. They sit around talking and are pretty useless. When they do serve you they have no manners. Overall there is a very elitist and condescending vibe. I do not recommend this shop!
