I lived in the UK for over eight years, dealt with five agencies, and never experienced worse service: 1. Their time-to-reply is slow across all queries: move-in, move-out, admin, contracts, and repair. 2. They only provide emails for contact, so you can not call them. 3. If they negotiate anything for you, run. Just do it yourself, and you will be served better. 4. People change all the time; no consistency. Edit: I read through some 5-star reviews, especially the ones mentioning names. There is no way that these are not fake. I interacted with the same people; there is no likelihood that anyone gave them a 5 of 5 rating.

***** DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS AGENCY ***** I have screenshots and proof of all our dealings with Marc & Partners if anybody would like further details. Marc & Partners tried to act illegally by wanting us to sign and pay for a backdated tenancy agreement, when we were not even in the property or had the keys! They are dishonest and will try to keep your money. Marc & Partners are now ignoring all our calls and texts, whilst still having our £8k deposit. Marco is an extremely rude man and very unprofessional. Now in the hands of our barrister. We are reporting them to ARLA and The Property Ombudsman.

Shamila is excellent at her job - highly responsive, on top of things, transparent and an advocate for the tenant while balancing the needs of the landlord. I would and am working with them again. This is our 2nd time renting from Marc & Partners in 3 years. We decided to forego renting a similar apartment from another agent that was 10 floor higher (better views!) + cheaper to rent from Marc and Partners again. I also think they have great taste in apartments - luxurious new builds in lovely neighbourhoods.

I rang to enquire about a property, and was told I would have a video sent to me via WhatsApp - but they never sent the video and my number was blacklisted immediately. I called several times, left voicemails about keenness to view properties, and my calls were never picked up ever again. I rang from a different number a couple months later and they immediately they pick up but the process begins again (no sending of video of property as advised, and ignoring or screening the number). Have you been instructed to avoid potential tenants who are black and ignore them? You were responsive until you saw what I Iooked like via Whatsapp. Intrigued to hear the explanation for this behaviour, which, as far as I can tell, is disgusting.

I have been renting through them for almost 2 years, I will just echo what other 1 star reviews are saying as apparently we all had the same issues: this agency (as most agencies unfortuantely) is responding to emails and being nice only when they need something from you, for all the rest their service is abysmal. Never replied to emails, never solved a single issue we had, unless we insisted a lot. Once we had an emergency on a Sunday and discovered that the number they provided in the formal contract was a simple concierge number, not really helpful and quite scary. They also tried (and managed to) to get from us an insane amount of money when we terminated early a contract (simply because we purchased a house) despite the fact that in 1 day they already found a new tenant paying 30% more than me and despite the fact that we experienced floodings and electricity panel fires as the apartments they rent are very low quality (as most of new towers built) and dangerous. Just to be clear on the above statement: they do not normally allow you to have break clauses so there is not much you can do about terminating early before the first year ends if you need to and they know it and do everything they can to make money on it. Just avoid them if you can, they are all nice and smiling only when asking you for money, for everything else they are just a bunch of people making easy money (they make it seem like they have skills btw) on a broken real estate market that never protects tenants, trying to squeeze any available penny out of your pocket. PS: they will increase your rent every time they can (i.e. at every break clause). PPS: the above is not valid for Carlotta, probably the only one with a brain in there.
