  Great discount family run hotel in the best part of London with easy connection for West end, Museums and shopping. I have stopped many times over the past years and never had any problems the management and staff are friendly and helpful the prices are probs the lowest in town, yes it's no frills down to earth accomodation but you get what you pay for and more at the Maranton.

  We stayed eight nights at MHH in a Double room-Superior-Ensuite. It was Room #6 on the ground floor, behind the reception area. We found the room to be quite charming, freshly renovated, and everything we needed. Was it perfect? No, there were some minor issues we had, but for two people, the hotel and the room definitely suited our needs. It was like staying in an Air BnB - we never had any contact with the staff after initial check-in, but they cleaned the room every day and responded to any written requests left for them. The room was nice and quiet, too. We slept with the window open and never heard anything, for the hotel is on a quiet street. It's a 2-minute walk to the Earl's Court tube station and there are many nearby dining establishments to choose from, my favorite being Paul, across the street from the station. There is a small M&S grocery store at the end of the street for picking up breakfast needs and snacks. If you want pubs, there are four within close walking range.

Our room was comfortable and correct to spend our nights there, certainly if you want a luxurious and modern hotel, with top-of-the-range furniture, well you will not like it. Nevertheless, if you are there to spend a pleasant stay in a simple room, a modern and functional bathroom as well as a very typical English interior decoration, you will feel at home. The staff is adorable, accommodating for payment, for check-in and check-out time. It is also possible to drop off your suitcases after departure time so that you can walk around before heading back. In terms of communication, I honestly have nothing to complain about, exchanges by email are fluid so no worries and no stress before arriving. Thank you again for your welcome but especially for your simplicity which I liked so much. (Original) Ce fut ma première fois dans l'hôtel, nous étions 2. Tout d'abord concernant l'hôtel : Je l'ai trouvé très bien situé, son prix justifie son emplacement car tous les transports sont à proximité ainsi que de bonnes adresses pour prendre un verre ou manger quelque chose, même pas 5min à pied. Notre chambre était confortable et correcte pour y passer nos nuits, certes si vous souhaitez un hôtel luxueux et moderne, avec des meubles de haut de gamme et bien vous ne y plairez pas. Néanmoins, si vous êtes là pour passer un agréable séjour dans une chambre simple, une salle de bain moderne et fonctionnelle ainsi qu'une décoration intérieure très typique anglaise et bien vous vous sentirez comme à la maison. Le personnel est adorable, arrangeant pour le paiement, pour l'heure d'arrivée et de départ. Il est également possible de déposer vos valises après l'heure de départ pour que vous puissiez vous balader avant de prendre le chemin du retour. Au niveau de la communication je n'ai franchement rien à redire, les échanges par mail sont fluides donc aucun soucis et aucun stress avant d'arriver. Merci encore pour votre accueil mais surtout pour votre simplicité qui m'a tant plu.

  The staff were genuinely wonderful, friendly and kind people who were so lovely to talk to and get to know. The aesthetic of the main lobby is beautiful as well. However, the rooms are falling apart. There is mold in the WC and shower, my foot went through a broken floor tile upon exiting the shower and the toilet seat was broken. The bed was extraordinarily uncomfortable, dipping in the middle where I felt the coils of the box spring against my back. I had to sleep on the edge of the bed to avoid this. The chair and bed’s head board are of faded red fabric with stains in some places. My advice to the owners: please invest in your hotel. This could be a wondrous place if not for it’s crumbling furnishings.
