Mum Reviews
Seems like a lovely community & nice staff, but not as progressive as I would have anticipated. Girls still encouraged to wear dresses; even for sport they have a skort. Curriculum and discussions don't seem to be moving away from gender stereotypes, much less addressing them head on, further ingraining those divides early on. Children still expected to call staff by Ms & Mr, vs a move toward first names showing all humans are equal in a situation. The discipline also sounded outdated and I was surprised to hear "timeout" and withholding of playtime for younger children (though I think as a last resort) - both of which seem to have been clearly debunked as appropriate methods for handling boisterous children.
