I have known Martyn now for 3 years since retiring and taking up playing the guitar. Before retiring, I had on several occasions attempted to learn the guitar without success finding the process of going through exercises shown in tutorial books boring. Martyn immediately tapped into my specific wishes of initially learning to play the blues, explaining the pentatonic and various scales and being extremely patient when I find a specific technique hard to master. Over the years, I like to think of Martyn as a friend and can only give full praise for his skills both as a guitarist and a tutor and I see my own path on this guitar journey only improving over the years. I cannot recommend him highly enough if you wish to learn the intricacies of this wonderful instrument Paul
