I cannot recommend Manor House Farm Cottages highly enough. They are incredible value for money. We stayed as a group of 12 friends in The Hayloft. The interior is beautiful, the rooms are all good sizes, there are plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. The different seating spaces are ideal for a large sociable group. We enjoyed fresh eggs from the barn each morning. Julia could not have been more helpful in assisting with any inquiries. There is fantastic walking straight from the door including to Ashford in the water (although theres a big hill to take on for the return journey!) with Bakewell, Buxton and the surrounding small villages just a short drive away. We will certainly be returning. Thank you Julia! X

I stayed in The Milking Parlour at Manor House Farm Cottages and it was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The finish inside the cottage was perfect and the attention to detail was amazing. It was super cosy with the double sided log burner and I loved the huge bath. We absolutely loved waking up to the goats every morning too!

Excellent stay in the Old Farm House, Manor House Farm Cottages. Beautiful location, within reach of Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock. Great communication with Julia the host. Very comfortable, lots of hot water, well equipped kitchen, and excellent amenities. Fabulous home produced bacon, sausages and lamb burgers. Great games room! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Old Farm House, Manor House Farm Cottages, Bakewell.

Staying at Manor House Farm Cottages is like finding a little corner of paradise in Derbyshire. In brief…. truly exceptional accommodation in a stunning and beautiful location. Great walking either directly from the accommodation or a short drive to Bakewell, Chatsworth or many other well known Derbyshire areas. Having stayed in The Milking Parlour and The Old Farmhouse both properties are beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The accommodation is kitted out with everything you can possibly need and more. Super treats too to welcome you at the start of your stay. Julia and John welcomed us into the property at the start of our stay. They kindly shared info on the local area and provided recommendations for restaurants and local events happening in the area. Brilliant stay. Can’t wait to book again.
