I’ve been going to Mango for over a year now. Geri always takes plenty of time to understand what it is I’d like before starting, and her attention to detail when colouring is incredible - I feel like my hair is in the best condition & the best it’s ever looked! The actual salon experience is lovely here too - it’s really spacious, there’s wi-fi when I want to work, and nice fresh barista-style coffee.

I arrived for my 10.00 appointment at 9.55. I sat and waited for 20 minutes for someone to talk to me. Eventually I had to go and find a member of staff to ask what was happening. At that point I was told my hairdresser was running late but I had no apology - not even the offer of a cup of tea. 2 people came in after me and were having their hair cut. It was a weekday and there were more members of staff than customers. The hair cut when I got it was ok. Just that ok. The salon looked nice. The service was terrible. Will not go back.

Was quite nervous going in as I've not had the best of luck with hairdressers in colchester. I've always had long hair but really wanted a change. So decided to go for a long Bob. And I've walked out the salon feeling like a new woman. Brooke cut my hair and has done such a beautiful job of it. Will be returning for a colour in next couple of weeks.
