The Manchester Youth Zone is a really good place to make new friends and learn new skills and I would definitely recommend this place to other young people. I joined MYZ in late August 2018, starting off with the Inclusion Sunday sessions (which are for 8-25 year olds with additional needs) and then about a month later, I started attending the Senior (13-19 year olds) sessions. As of 2022, I am a Young Leader at MYZ, supporting the Junior sessions (ages 8-11) and have now been a Young Leader since April 2021. I enjoy being a Senior Inclusion member at MYZ, taking part in different activities such as cooking, baking, arts & crafts and sometimes sports as well as helping deliver activities and challenges on the Juniors as part of Learn2Lead.

Yes it is cheap. But the staff aren’t powerful and is a horrid run place that might look good until your parents leave and most kids don’t really like going back .
