Took my mk7 turbo in to trade on a new one. Lads asked the reason of new turbo. Told them what happened ..they wanted to test my turbo first . They tested my turbo and come back and said my turbo is fine and they wasn't willing to sell me one due to this. They advised me to go look at the egr valve instead.. put turbo on and blanked egr off . Van runs mint !!!! Very very honest set of lads here.

Many thanks to Manchester Turbos for providing me with good advice and for supplying me with a 'like brand new' Borg Warner VNT turbo. The reconditioning was of my failed turbo and I was assured that the replacement parts were genuine Borg Warner parts. The turbo was balanced, actuator calibrated and fully tested before being issued. It was completely overhauled and the casting and actuator were both powder coated. This is for my Audi A2 1.4TDI 90 (ATL engine code). Other companies could not provide any help as a brand new turbo is either rare as hens teeth or extortionately expensive. Manchester Turbos also recommended a good garage to carry out the replacement work and the necessary engine checks and service work required to fulfil the 12 months warranty. I'm very pleased with the end result and my car is running and performing like it should again.
