I have had great experiences in the past with the receptionist as well as the vets. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The service at this vets is absolutely amazing compared to any vets in Manchester as well as Oldham. However when I took my hamster to see one vet in particular, Sarah. She handled my hamster really roughly right in front of me. It was very upsetting as my baby was already unwell and then had to be handled in such a disgusting manner. We asked Sarah to trim her nails for her and she proceeded to handle my baby in a very harsh way despite the fact that myself and my sister were telling her to stop, not just once but over 5 times we told her “STOP!” because my hamster was getting scared. I could see the pain in my girls eyes. Like something that little can’t tell you enough to stop by biting you and pushing all the food out of her cheeks and telling you she is scared, but even when me and my sister were yelling, she didn’t stop. She only stopped when she had enough. I left the vets very upset with this particular vet. I cried in the car because my baby was poorly and then was handled that way. We have come to see Maria and Mr Jennings in the past. Both have been absolute gems every single time. The receptionist always have such big bright smiles on their faces and greet us well when we have come in before. It's just a shame they have a vet such as Sarah to ruin such an amazing practice's image. Don't avoid the practice, avoid the vet Sarah.

Took my 2 year old dog for her vaccinations, in and out experience, persons next to me obviously having their pet put to sleep, they went back in and then out and before they left the vet was calling the next customer in. Absolutely disgusted! When I went in for her vacine, he weighed her and that's the extent of her health check. I asked a question about her chewing her paws and was told she had a fungal infection, he didn't even lift her paws up, he said he could tell by the colour of her hair! Prescribed a shampoo costing me over £30. He began drinking his oasis orange drink whilst I was still there, very unprofessional! When I asked the receptionist if he was the usual vet I was told he was a locum & wouldn't be coming back. So why did they let him continue if he was no good? I'd have rather cancelled and come back another day! I complained a week later but had already used the shampoo, the practice manager was lovely and gave me a refund for the vaccine and a free health check so I had to returned and didn't need the shampoo as she didn't have a fungal infection but would not refund me the shampoo as I'd used it. Even though it was resolved and my dog had a proper health check, I'll be looking for a new vet!

Have just rung the practice to ask for a spay op on my dog, have been told that its avery long wait, over 2 months. I do not wish to give a bad report on the practice, however the receptionist did not allow me to explain my situation. That the dog is a reacue, fear issues with strangers, i have only had her 9 weeks and did not want a set back. Very disappointed i have been with the practice a long time, seems its gone to the dogs . Before dear reader you think i wanted to queue jump, that isnt my complaint, being fobbed off is
