Been privileged to play in the Manchester Softball League for near 30 years and seen it go from ‘jumpers for bases’ to the amazing, fully-inclusive, five division league it is today. From the newest ‘rookie’ the the most seasoned GB international it really is a big happy family and unique in that males and females compete as equals on the pitch at the same time. In my opinion it is unrivalled in its social aspect and if you are new to Manchester or just looking for a new interest then now is the time to get involved. Be warned though. It WILL take over your life....
