Tiny ice rink and overcrowded. We waited outside escape to freight island until someone directed us half the way to the ice rink and pointed us in the WRONG direction, after 10 minutes of waiting at the wrong set of stairs (where the staff member indicated) another staff member pointed us, this time in the right direction. Despite having online tickets you have to queue to print them and them show them to get your skates. Once you're in is even worse, tiny ice rink and very overcrowded, you can barely move. On top of that the ice is melting and they have to chuck buckets of ice constantly to keep it frozen, creating a lots of bumps on the surface. Could see the staff stamping their feet to try and make it flat. 🤦 I also spotted a couple of holes where there was water rather than ice. I have no complaints about the staff, apart from pointing us in the wrong direction to start with, but the organisation and wrong placement of the rink. Indoors in a place full of heaters, the place is warm enough to no need your coat so not great for an ice rink.
