Excellent care and support for my mum during her time in respite care at Manchester House. Probably like most people, I was anxious about a loved one going into a care home, albeit for a temporary stay. I found all the staff there (management, administration, nursing, care, cooking, laundry staff and others) to always be extremely friendly and helpful. What impressed me the most was the kindness shown that was evident from everyone I met there. To see my mum's face light up was lovely - whether it be from a simple smile, a cheerful conversation, a passing 'hello, how are you?' or the times where staff would patiently sit with mum or help stimulate conversation or engage her with subjects and activities she is interested in - such as birds and nature programs, musicals etc. Thank you.

My mum was left alone st nite of she vomited and choked could kill her. Also they left her meds on the side all mornin was after mid day also her mornin drink she didn't get I had to do something her tv she could not see it at all.mum said food bad.there toilet not clean room water pool on floor that can cause someone to fall. I Goin get my mum out of this place the staff boss always on holiday. Various issues to.my mum crying she needs 24 watch she Kant do anything for her self I take prompt action with authority get my my safe place and proper food care and new nitewewr.she no photos at to see literally mum told me she does not want to live

Firstly this place needs more staff! During my grandads stay I had to look around for staff to get him to the toilet or if he needed something. When I finally found someone they just told me they will go and get someone. Did they? No! I had to keep asking different staff, which was an absolute joke. Some of staff were very friendly whilst others couldn't look anymore miserable. I just hope he was treated with respect . I now feel guilty for not doing anything about it . We were looking for other homes in the meantime but I should of took a more drastic action .

My mum in here paralyzed I rang 3 times they no respect very un organized for people tb3y should have a convenient phone line doubt ring again lousy service she still no get anyone to ring me don't worry I be putting a complaint in. Yet my mum no t.v. she misses her movies on DVD mum must be bored she Kant do anything
