Weekend fret stoning / guitar set up course June 2020. James knows his stuff and takes you through carefully, step-by-step sharing years of experience. So what you get is a new set of skills and a perfectly set up guitar with a complete fret dress under watchful eye of an expert (who also sorts out your inevitable clumsy mistakes and keeps the coffee coming for 2 days). Since the course I've fret dressed and set up 2 more guitars saving a couple of hundred quid - great value and recommended.

Spent a day with James learning to set up my guitars, James very friendly, knows his craft, he has a very interesting way of teaching which keeps you interested at all times. The course did run over its time which was great as there was no rushing to get the job done James made sure I understood what I was doing and was very patient. I came away with more knowledge about my guitars than I intended too. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to be able to service their own instrument. I hope to go back and learn some more in the future.

Great repair job done by James on a sunburst Fender telecaster and ebony Gibson Les Paul. Scratches, dents and cloudy paintwork all transformed back to new condition. Good price, high quality repairs. Definitely recommended.
