The customer service centre for Manchester Council has been closed for over 2 years now. I asked in the library opposite the centre and was told by a very polite employee in reception that they do still accept appointments only, but to get one you have to get through to them via phone and good luck with that. What a joke

Not relaxing peaceful place at all. Too many people using the area as free office /Wi-Fi space and holding meetings. Godawful piano playing disrupting any attempt at concentration and no longer any comfy sofas. Ditch the piano playing as it's intrusive and unnecessary.

So I'm sitting here and I'm watching like consultant has an appointment and when it last for 2 minutes she is sitting and talking with her college for 10 minutes before calling next person. Now I am not surprised why it takes half a day to be seen.... Nice people on doorway. Within 30minutes she has seen 2 people. 1 visit lasted 5min and next one 2 minutes. I'm paying my taxes for that kind of service? You should check cameras! It is embarrassing for Manchester. Lazy service...
