I know it's difficult to be in court for the myriad of different cases, with some as in my case with a disappointing outcome. That aside and the reason I have left this review is to review the staff and facilities. Every member of staff I came into contact with over the 24 months were wonderful, polite, professional and at times when I was upset, extremely comforting. The security always made entering the court as easy as possible, reception and postal staff were ever helpful, the canteen staff and Chef were lovely, and the ushers I encountered during my 4-day trial were amazing. The cleaning staff worked hard and the ladies bathrooms were always clean. The whole building is always clean and I personally love the architecture and design of it. It is a contemporary building with lots of light with an air of corporate excellence. The conference rooms offered in advance or if one was free were comfortable and soundproof. The one and only complaint I have about the Court is the lift didn't have mirrors on the walls which helps with claustrophobia and why many lifts do have them. So if someone from the Court reads this, please fit mirrors to take that enclosed feeling away and so that I can check out my hair and make-up en route! Bless you Manchester Civil Justice Centre, your staff are amazing and deserve credit for their service to the public.
