AMAZING HOLLY AT CHELMER VILLAGE - After Mamas and Papas were discontinuing the Oxford stone grey furniture range my husband and I were frantically looking online to try and source it somehow. I called the Chelmsford store on the off chance to see if the may have an ex display chest of drawers in store and they did. (In fabulous condition too) Holly answered the phone in such a friendly way and I recognised her from a personal shopping visit at the start of my pregnancy. She was absolutely amazing and listened to all I needed in regards to the furniture and she immediately called the blue water store and secured us another ex display chest of drawers and also ordered from warehouse our wardrobe and cot to be delivered on a day that suits us. I visited the store to make payment and Holly again was so so helpful and made the whole thing totally stress free. She liaised again with blue water to make sure the chest of drawers was ready for us to collect that evening. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the products and we even purchased extra things in store as she explained if we spent over a certain amount of money we get a gift card for money back to spend at mamas and papas. I couldn’t thank her enough for helping us secure the furniture for our nursery as once our mind was set on that range we couldn’t find anything else that matched up to such great quality. I will 100% recommend friends and family to visit the store and see Holly if they need advice on products or need to make a big order. Thanks Holly!! I and my wife were in-store today and were served by an incredibly helpful young lady called Holly. We came in the first time a few weeks ago and saw Holly, she was not pushy whatsoever and helped us shortlist some push chairs and get ideas on car seats (something we had not considered). Holly booked us in for a personal shopping day a few weeks later giving us time to mill over the choices without any pressure and to take advantage of the upcoming sale. When we came in today she helped us pick our final pushchair from our shortlist; helped us build the perfect bundle of accessories; found a car seat that was perfect for our needs and even gave us some ideas on furniture for the next thing on our list! She gave a great demo of the product and was very patient with us while we asked a million questions and wanted to try using it ourselves. We took a few mins to discuss our options in the on-site Costa, we then decided to purchase then and there due to the amazing service given by Holly. The manager Sara was fantastic too and supported Holly through the sale and made me and my wife feel very reassured with our choices, from one retail manager to another thank you so much. Both Holly and Sara are a credit to the M&P team.

My husband and I are expecting our first child and after searching online, speaking to different people and trying to visit various different shops to figure out the best pram for us, I was feeling completely overwhelmed and deflated. Yesterday we went to Mamas and Papas in Chelmsford where we met Holly. I cannot explain how wonderful, professional and helpful she was. Holly truly went above and beyond to help guide us to finding the best suited pram. She spent a lot of time understanding our needs first and only then selected a few models so we weren't completely overwhelmed with more information and options. That's not to say that she wasn't also extremely accommodating when a different pram did catch our eye, at which point she talked us through the differences and the pros and cons of that model compared to the others she had selected based on our requirements. She was patient, honest, extremely knowledgeable and easy to speak to. I was never planning to walk out with a decision, I thought it would be another wasted trip, but instead we have the full pram set, baby's cot, we've also identified many other bits and pieces, which are now securely on our wish list. At the end of our experience Holly gifted us with the most gorgeous gift for our little one, signed from Mamas and Papas, it was completely unexpected and took our whole experience to the next level. Needless to say we will be returning for all of our other baby bits and I will be calling ahead to make sure she is in that day! Thank you Holly for actually making baby shopping enjoyable again!!
