I decided to support our Cottingham Specsavers rather than the Beverley store I usually got my glasses from. The staff were attentive and friendly as I entered the place, however, when I started to look at the glasses on display I decided against it! The lenses were filthy! I am not talking dusty or the odd fingerprint, but really dirty. You couldn’t see out of them for thick, greasy finger marks! Pair after pair, stand after stand! I have honestly never seen anything like it in any opticians before. I don’t understand how adults glasses could have been left to become so awful. Needless to say I will be visiting the Beverley store instead.
