The Malting Farm lodges are beautiful. Worth every penny. So much thought gone into everything, from the build of the lodges, to the decor, positioning of the lodges for sunset/sun rise etc. We've seen pheasants on the veranda, hares running through the fields, a stork and even an owl. Emma has been wonderful, checking in with us pre arrival, putting birthday banners and balloons up for my partners surprise birthday treat. And their complimentary homemade lemon drizzle cake is to die for

We loved our stay in Hares Hideaway! So cosy and welcoming with the fairy lights and underfloor heating. Beds super comfortable and everything we needed for our stay including great shower, hot tub, fluffy towels and robes, plus nice extra touches such as the homemade cake, sustainable coffee pods and fresh local milk in the fridge. Location is very peaceful and quiet, but plenty to do not far away. Train from London took less than an hour. We pre-ordered supper from the local chef recommended, Amateur Country Cook, and it was waiting for us on arrival and absolutely delicious. All in all a perfect getaway with my friend!

An absolutely beautiful getaway, with spotlessly clean, spacious and well designed cabins. We loved the hot tub, the zip line, the beautiful big bathroom and the friendly cows in the field just down from our cabin. Great escape, close to london and within half an hour of some fun things to do, including beaches and Dedham/Flatford. Can’t fault

After a long weekend in London, this was the perfect breath of fresh air to spend time with family. Delightfully rustic cabins, beautifully designed to the very last detail and set in a remote and idyllic landscape. Hare’s Hideaway provided a well stocked kitchen, comfortable lounge area, a beautiful master bedroom and bath. My two daughters (under 5) loved their fun bunk bed room, complete with fun cubby holes in the stairs and peepy shutters! If they weren’t happily playing in there, they were busy exploring the wonderful outside space beyond the floor-to-ceiling back terrace doors. The cabins feel private but also close enough for the children to run safely between them, so is the ideal place to stay as a family/friend group. A zesty lemon cake met us on arrival. We enjoyed many goes on the mini zip line beyond the third cabin. We used the honesty shop, which was well stocked with useful items. We saw lots of pheasants, hares and bird life. And our hosts were extremely welcoming and full of useful local information. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again! (My only comment: I had to put a hair band around the shutter doors, covering the small outside windows in the children’s bedroom, on each bunk bed level…as the windows didn’t seem to lock shut. Didn’t want any escapees!!)

We stayed in Stoats Lodge during February half term and it was absolutely perfect for a family of five. The lodge is cosy and warm, with all the mod cons to keep the little ones happy. So much thought has gone into every detail. We loved the pastries from the honesty shop! We enjoyed lovely walks, the animal feeding with Emma and even managed a bracing dip in the mini lake. We will definitely be back!! Thanks so much.
