(Translated by Google) Very nice place, colorful and street food. A little Camden. but the dishes are very spicy. Eat standing up. (Original) Endroit tres sympa, coloré et street food. Un petit camden. mais les plats sont très épicés. Mange debout.

A market in a narrow street with plenty of delicious food options from around the world. I visit often to try different things. Great place to take friends. Can get a bit busy, but it's part of the atmosphere

Besides everything else, London is known for its markets. Fridays to Sundays are the best days to visit them. Maltby is primarily food and beverages, but there are other locations with flea market (clothes, etc.) effect. included, such as Liverpool market. My favorite food choices at Maltby Market: Bangers (Food: The Everything Sandwich) and La Pepia: Venezuelan Arepas). I went in the morning and returned before they closed because I loved the food and environment (get there before 4pm as they start to close up early). There are free bathrooms, which is awesome; my partner stated they weren't the cleanest but appreciated that they are free and no lines. You can get food and beverages (alcoholic and non) from restaurants here at Maltby, even though the two places I mentioned are stalls outdoors. There are benches you can sit on, and some restaurants with store fronts will allow you in (or have a separate seating area) if you are also purchasing from them. Special thanks to those who allowed me to snap photos of their food, in addition to my own😊

Nice open market with an interesting variety of options along its stalls. You also have some fixed small restaurants and wine bars if you’d rather sit down. Favorite options during this last visit: WatchHouse Coffee, The Walrus and the Carpenter (oysters and seafood), and Comptoir Gourmand. And of course an all time favorite: St John’s Bakery. You can start your beer mile walk from here, either with Southwark Brewing or Anspach & Hobday, getting up to The Kernel, stopping at Cloudwater (several other stops there, but can’t get them all here).

Smaller than I remember it. Free parking further away. The steak and chips stall with chimchurri is still amazing!
