Got there just as the kitchen was closing and they stayed on to give us what I can only describe as the best food I've ever had in a pub, and some of the best I've ever had in any restaurant. Jo, behind the bar, was warm and fantastic. And we had the added pleasure of meeting Pete and Stanley Baxter while there...yes, ask to meet Stanley...he's a rare treat! Thanks all.

Expensive, not a good atmosphere really quiet for a Friday night (expensive for what it is) basic food really at restaurant prices, however what we had was nice. It's s a small village pub and I think that down to earth prices and would be more popular for the owners and the clients
