Excellent place for some pub sports japes. Nice relaxed separate snooker area. Lots of pool tables. Darts section could be bigger, got a bit cramped in there when both boards were in use. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely go back.

Enjoyable time playing pool here, no complaints about the actual venue itself, However the parking! as you turn in you see a big sign with free parking for The Ball Room customers. Once you see that you naturally proceed to park and walk into the venue without thinking any more of it... not the case, it doesn't matter how many signs are on walls hidden in the dark of winter... if you just pulled in and saw free parking you don't think too much more. Anyway, having then went back to Ireland for a few months I returned to my home in Scotland to find a £170 fine!! I did not know I had a fine and thus to keep increasing it with no understanding is just.. not fair in my opinion, doesn't matter if another company owns the carpark, as far as your customers are concerned from the signs it is The Ball Rooms carpark and free in big writing. Quite unhappy and will not be returning.
