We ate dinner, and were allowed to sit alone in a room in the back. But even though we were sitting in there, they were super good at still having top service. Went there for afternoon tea mid-December, a group of 5 people. First, the good part - the decorations and food were absolutely great - especially the food! Now for the not-so-good part. I originally had booked for 3 people but then changed to 5 after calling a few days earlier, however the table we were given was clearly "not for 5", although we did manage to fit. The room wasn't even full, a few tables were free (and remained free during our visit). We got there for 15:30 and around 15:45 were asked whether we'd like to be server and we said yes. The food arrived at 16:30 - that's a 45 minute wait. Also, a family of 4 that arrived _after us_ was server before us. Usually I wouldn't mind but since we had to wait for 45 minutes, it looks bad. The service was incredibly slow, and what was supposed to be a 2 hour visit lasted a bit over 3 hours, with a lot of the time trying to get the staff's attention. I don't know if Cadogan was just having a bad day, but our visit was a bit disappointing.
