    I use Mailbox reasonably often, most recently for a DHL prepaid return. I paid £5 to use their service, on top of the prepaid amount, which is fine, they're a business and provide a service. For some reason, the item was subsquentially returned to my home address - an additional label had been stuck over my prepaid one. I had to then resend via another DHL service point (which don't charge a £5). I went into see Mail Box to request they return my £5, given the service I'd paid hadn't been delivered, only to be told that they aren't a DHL service point, it must be my or DHLs fault, and refused to refund me. Apparentely 'I should contact DHL for an explanation', as if DHL are going to refund me for additional charges from this service point (that seems only to be a service point when it suits them) Take some responsibility mailbox, I won't be using you again.

    Very disappointed with service and pricing. They double or triple price that would cost you sending parcels with DHL or another courier company. I got quoted £35 by DHL next day delivery and they offered me their “best price”£120. Don’t use them unless you want to throw your money away.

    This place used to be a great alternative to the Post Office as there were never large queues and their prices were competitive. I wanted to send a 2.3kg parcel to the US - first price given was £138, then £85 before I left he said he could do it for £63… thankfully I checked with the UoE a few doors down - £41 tracked and signed for with Parcelforce… I went back to MBE to tell the guy- he said, they don’t offer this type of Parcelforce delivery. Horrible to feel they are ripping off customers.

    WHAT A RIP OFF !! I have been there many times and thought the service was good. as the question were shorter than the PO. I just went in to send a FEDEX parcel and was quoted a lot more than another Fedex "agent " had quoted ( main reason was £180 for insurance as opposed to £90 by the previous agent ) when i queried this they said " Oh we dont use Fedex insurance we cover it ourselves , its too complicated to use Fedex " . !! I was expecting to pay circa £200 ( first quote from the Highgate agent ) but they wanted over £300. I have just opened a Fedex account and get the same service ( including pick up ) for £154.53!!.

    I took a package to return to retailer. I asked how much it would be for Royal Mail and told me it was too big for Royal Mail. That was clearly a lie and I should have gone to Royal Mail next door to check. Tried to charge my wife£60 for a package via parcelforce. She checked with Parcelforce directly. Cost was actually £40. You're ripping customers off and making up the price as you go

    Just left the place very disappointed by the lack of respect for face mask rules. A customer/friend of staff behind the till was just around in the shop with no mask, while also chewing a gum. When he stood very close to me, I politely pointed out he was not wearing a mask, so he could have least social distancing, the man just grimaced at me and kept standing very close to me. All this under the indifference of staff. I had to simply leave as I felt not safe at all in that situation. People are making an immense effort to try and keep safe during the pandemic and manage to spend Christmas with their loved ones. If staff of this shop do not care about enforcing simple rules to keep everyone safe, neither should I care about bringing my money there.

    Charge you a quid for a piece of plastic to put a DHL label in and refuse to take most packages - have to travel much further now to drop of parcels as this place totally unhelpful and a rip off. Avoid. Nice reply - tell me how that piece of plastic costs you £1 - that's about a 1000% mark up ...
