I had an appointment after asking for help recently. I saw Paula for an assessment and she was absolutely brilliant. She was honest, open and considerate. She made sure she was writing down exactly what I said and asked me to check too. The amount of times I’ve received reports containing things I didn’t say is huge, but Paula made sure this didn’t happen. I understand I am unwell, but I also understand that there is no ‘quick fix’ and if you go here with the attitude that they can ‘fix’ you, then you will be disappointed. Thank you Paula for your understanding, empathy and care.

Absolutely abysmal service. Refusing help to people who are really struggling and constantly reaching out for help but being discharged immediately. A close friend of mine with EUPD has been struggling severely and dealing with this service has made her worse. If you're struggling, go elsewhere because this service has no idea what they're doing.

Just don't. If you are suicidal they will tip you over with their condescending and dismissive attitude. If you are ill, they will make you worse. They will sneer as they do it. You will not be assessed accurately. You will not see competent people at any stage. They deserve be shut down and every single one of them fired. It has been of cesspit of incompetence for decades. Don't bother with a complaint to PALS. They swim in the same cesspool. Save yourselves by going private or getting the hell out of Maidstone. Your life depends on it.

This place is absolute joke my friend who had appointment on the 8/9/22..we got to reception to book inthe lady there didn't seem to have a clue at what she was doing. We told her why we was there. My friend was asked he was seeing we couldn't remember as didn't have the letter was asked his name which he even had to spell out so surly she have been able to found out on the system but no we got told she would find out and take a seat which we did. My friend's appointment time come and went and 10 minutes after the appointment the lady who was doing the appointment called my friend to find out where he to which he replied that he was sat in reception. So the lady on reception not only didn't book him in nor did she find out anything for him. It made my friends anxiety worse the lady who done the the appointment i couldn't fault and when we left she even come out to reception to ask why she hadn't been informed that my friend was there by which time there was another lady on reception who couldn't apologise enough Another thing that Is that when you arrive its a bit confusing as there's a separate door for the doctor's which wasn't open so had people waiting for them to but getting in the way of part of the building my friend need

Awful! Words cannot describe how disgusted I am. I have been waiting 6 months!!! for someone to get back to me to tell what sort of medication I should be taking. I do not exaggerate when I say 6 months!!! I have tried contacting them numerous times and if they don’t put the phone down on you, which they have done on more than one occasion, each time I am told my case will be discussed on the next Wednesday, then the next Wednesday, then the next. Could you stop this??? You are lying to people!!! When I finally was asked to have a meeting with them, after months of waiting, they cancelled the meeting the day before stating the person who would see me would be looking after her nephew. They arranged a telephone call instead and the phone call was late and then I was cut off because she had no battery on her phone!!! So unprofessional!!! I then had to phone them back again because they didn’t think to bother phoning me. I am still waiting for an answer to one question, 6 months on… What medication I should be taking? Is that so difficult??? I sympathise with other people relying on their “services” as a lot of people are being referred away from their local GPs. It is not ok to be lied too continuous and it is not ok to be waiting months. Really you should be ashamed of yourselves for lying and deceiving people!!!
