From a Crazy chicken lady and her partner, I can’t thank Claire and her team enough for saving my partner and myself from rough sleeping. Even though we were out of our area and our own Council had left us to the elements, these are the best support network for the homeless I have ever known of and provide food, a chance to shower and feel human again, non judgemental and friendly listening and practical safeguarding. Absolutely epic. If every town’s churches worked like this there would be far less desperation and deaths amongst the homeless community… :)
