Very basic station with no facilities. Handy if you live close by. Easy walk into Maidstone town taking you alongside Maidstone East Station with easy access. I assume that's one of the main reasons for Maidstone Barracks Station - short walk to change to the other Maidstone line.

Good station but no facilities, better off going down the road and using Maidstone West on the same line, bit unnecessary having 2 stations on the same line that take 30 seconds to travel between by train. Also no disabled access, platforms are only accessible by stairs.

This isn’t a great station location, it’s too far from Aylesford and too close to Maidstone West (which most people going to Maidstone use instead of Barracks). It should be demolished with a replacement station built at Allington.
