We had a fantastic day learning how to paddle board, Maidenhead sailing club was the venue. Paddleboard Maidenhead was the company, they asked us to arrive 15/20 minutes early to get set up for a safety briefing, told us in advance what is best clothing to wear in the water ie synthetic because it doesn't hold water and dries quicker, their was a few of us and the organizer Tara split the instructors up to accommodate the groups, our instructor Nathan was very calming and took us out on the lake, I felt reassured and in good hands. My first time on a paddle board, kneeling at first to get confidence and when he said in your own time where to put your feet looking forward stand up and paddle in the water, the board wobbled and I was in, surprisingly Nathan had me out of the water and back on the board in no time. I had a good day learning and after about 1hour I was standing but still wobbly. The sailing club had toilets and showers.
