Went along today and all I can say it what has happened! The shop looked neglected and lacked it's usual sparkle. One staff member miserable as I have witnessed before, so clearly not just a one off. The other one helpful but, didn't look thrilled to be there. Shame Richard left, he was always so helpful, friendly and seemed to be interested in the customer. Won't be visiting again in a hurry.

Bought 5 guppies. The man who served me caught multiple fish in the net, then proceeded to pick out the fish, with his hand, before inspecting them and dropping them into the bag. Bear in mind the other fish were sitting in the net while this was going on. I've never seen anything like it. Already complained about this and was told they would speak to the staff member in question. Tanks are tiny, fish are overcrowded, especially some of the larger fish who can hardly move. Saw lots of sparring behaviour, most likely caused by lack of space. Lot of dead shrimp in the tanks as well. This was my first visit to a Maidenhead Aquatics store and it was a terrible first impression. I won't be buying from any of these stores again.

Would go as far as saying they’re frauds. Sold me infected fish that then went on to infect all my other pond fish. I phoned and complained and their reply was ‘we can’t do anything for other than sell you a product to help sort the infection as it’s been more than 10 days’. So they win both ways. I went back today to have a look round and they are still selling goldfish that have the same infection. So please don’t buy any pond fish from these FRAUDSTERS.
