Waited an hour and a half for delivery. Everything was cold. Ordered meat samosas and got vegetable samosas, popadoms were soggy and there was a dried up green egg in the main course!

This is easily the best Indian takeaway in Braintree: The menu is diverse enough to have something for everybody, the service when collecting is always friendly and polite, the food itself is simply delicious with enough food for the biggest of appetites and the price is quite reasonable especially when you consider that the poppadoms and chutneys are usually included in the price. In fact the only thing that is wrong is that there isn't a restaurant to eat in yet. Recommended. Edit: It has gradually gone downhill in the past year, so much so that we now go elsewhere.

I don't know if it's changed hands because the packaging was different. We ordered a lamb dish but before it could be dished up we had to pour loads of fat off, it was swimming in fat. The meat was meant to be slow cooked...it had holes going through it from a skewer...it was not slow cooked.and it tasted funny. It went into the bin. We also had a pineapple chicken dish, it was so runny like pineapple juice had been poured in We paid over £50 and most of it has gone in the bin. It was awful.

Lovely curry , ordered from here by accident thinking it was the one hubby usually orders from and was pleasantly surprised! The sweet onion bhajis were great and kids loved them. Portions were generous . The only thing that could of been improved was the vegetable curry; it didnt have much flavour and was quite watery ...however I appreciate there is only so much you can do with vegetables!

Used to be our favourite Indian in braintree but feel like it's gone down hill a bit. Onion baji's are tiny now nearly pointless to even have, the sauces are hit and miss some of them taste almost plasticy. Have given it a few more orders to see if it was just an off day but it seems this is now how it is which is a shame.
