  I believe I am blessed to have Dr. Karoshi. He surely is the best gynaecologist, not in London, but in whole UK, and whole world. I had a 6cm x 2cm huge submucous fibroid which caused me constantly bleeding for more than one year. If there is no comparison, it will be hard for me to give the comments. However, I have consulted two other very famous gynaecologists previously, which made Dr. Karoshi even more standing out: not only in terms of his professional ability and skills, but his character and professional ethics. My first gynaecologist, was recommended by my insurance company, who graduated from Cambridge University, with many years’ experience. This doctor suggested an open surgery to take out the whole uterus, in order to remove the fibroid. When talking about the situation, the doctor declared that he has never looked at my MRI images, because he believes that was radiologist’s job. During the consultation, the doctor did not explain to me the side effect on GnRH which he plans to use for shrink the size of my fibroids before removing the whole uterus. He also did not know there is a new type of medicine with much less side effects in the market recently. I did another consultation with one of top surgeons in this area, from St Thomas Hospital. He is the expert in robotic surgery. However, I can see he did no preparation before the consultation. The plan proposed was based on what he is good at, which is using robot to perform the surgery, not based what will be the best for the patient. Then lucky enough, I have found Dr. Karoshi from internet. He was very efficient, within a very short time he arranged online consultation. Very different to my other two doctors, Dr. Karoshi explained to me in depth and details about my situation, what’s the reason behind it. Also he proposed more than three different treatment plans, based on my appeals and best possible outcome. He is very knowledgeable, and very humble, with lots of compassionate and care. The strongest feeling after the first consultation is, Dr. Karoshi really put his heart into his job. All his analysis was based on his professional. Nothing is from profit driven. When discussing the operation plan, I was requesting a Mirena after surgery. Dr. Karoshi was very frankly and considerate, giving the reasons and suggested me not to have Mirena after operation: any patient like me, should avoid any hormones. I did not tell him my previous experience: —my first doctor was trying very hard to persuade me to put Mirena after operation, which is hormones. The only reason why he tried so hard, I guess apart from lack of knowledge, should because thinking about some extra profit: which is the worst thing a doctor should put as priority. Dr. Karoshi did a very thoughtful operation plan, even requested an extra assistant, in case there will be unforeseen situation. However, the surgery went extremely well. During the surgery, I only lost 100ml blood. After surgery, there is no bleeding, no pain. I was told to rest for two weeks. But as soon as I wake up from anaesthesia, I know I am good. Two days later, Dr. Karoshi sent me detailed operation report and tissue examination results, which are really professional and very detailed. If you remember, I was sentenced by another doctor to have an open surgery with big cut in belly to take out the whole uterus. Dr. Karoshi, not only saved my uterus, but also minimized the damaged to my body. Also brought me lots of relief: I am a single mother, no one will be able to look after me for four weeks if I had open surgery. Large fibroids removal, is a very common operation for experts like Dr. Karoshi. However, due to my experience, I really cannot take it for granted. I want to say huge THANK YOU sincerely to Dr. Karoshi. You are not only the world greatest expert in your area, but your character, ethics and caring heart are as shining as your skills. Patients whoever meet you, are blessed. I will be always grateful for your help in my whole life.

  I would highly recommend Mr Karoshi. He is such a warm friendly approachable man, who you always feel is being honest and doing his very best for you. He explains everything to you and has endless patience, and stays very calm and reassuring even when you may be flapping. He is also very modest. And on top of that he is a fantastic skilled surgeon, who I would have no hesitation in recommending to every woman with gynecologic problems. Such a lovely man. I'm completely overwhelmed with how well my surgery has been carried out by him this week, and am very thankful I found him.

  I highly recommend Mr Karoshi! He is extremely professional, attentive, a great listener and calming. He doesn’t jump to conclusions and sees things fully through to the end, which I greatly appreciate. I am an anxious and fast-paced New Yorker, but he had me take a deep breath and not jump to the next step (my husband really appreciated this!). I am beyond thankful for Mr Karoshi. He suggested I begin treatment outside his practice as I would have a better result (he doesn’t handle this treatment) and personally passed me to amazing and trusted specialists. After treatment and surgery, they found the issue and this wouldn’t have been found potentially for years if it weren’t for Mr Karoshi. THANK YOU MR KAROSHI!!!
