Complete rip off. We had magic man out to repair some chips in our work top. They quoted that the work would take approx 4 hours and charged £354, guy was on site for just over an hour. The filler that they used is already falling out and did not match the colour of the work top. I would say a complete waste of money to be honest. I could have done it myself.

I requested a Basin crack repair and the reply was that they don't repair cracks any more, they also attached a brochure that was supposed to have an updated list of repairs they do but not. Still, the brochure clearly says they do repair cracks on basins same as their website. Mad!

Magicman made an 99% perfect repair on my damaged table. You can only see the repair when you bend down and catch the light at a certain level. I dropped a heavy object on my motorhome table which pierced the surface. Magicman filled in the hole and colour matched the table perfectly. The surface was slightly rippled and this was replicated too. I would highly recommend.

Do not use this company if you want to keep your sanity. I’ve used this type of service in industry for many years. This particular company is the worst I’ve ever come across. Some of the there trades are unqualified, the wrong paints turn up. Their quotation system means nothing they give you a price and then the charges keep increasing even though you’ve uploaded the pictures and they send a quote. Horrendous experience

Wife took half a day from work as they were due 12-17.00 we were told they would ring 30 mins before arrival. CCTV shows he turned up at 11.45 and left at 12, wife wasted half a days leave.

We used Magicman to repair cracks to a dark marble basin and dents to a hardwood kitchen floor. The repairs to the basin look like grey undercoat and the repairs to the floor, whilst well matched, are already lifting after less than a month (see attached photo); we suspect they'll have failed completely within another month. When we complained to Magicman they advised they gave no warranty and their 'Technical Department' had deemed from our photograph that the failure of the floor repair was nothing to do with their product or application and was basically because we had cleaned the floor (we use a proprietary wood floor cleaner and don't wet mop).I attach a copy of their response to our complaint so you can judge for yourself whether they took our complaint seriously (hint: the opposite of 'yes'). Magicman's products and application aren't fit for purpose. The cost of this work? Over £400 plus VAT. What a complete waste of money.
