Another very well organised tour by Magellan. Mark, our guide, had to make a couple of changes to the planned routes due to the weather and some high passes being closed (snow) but these did not detract for the tour at all. Hope to be back on another tour soon.

My wife Sharon and I both ride motorbikes and although we have travelled far and wide under our own steam the logistics and planning can detract from the enjoyment of a motorbike journey in another country where language and culture can cause complications. We have now enjoyed 3 outstanding Magellan motorcycle tours.Self drive to the Black Forest, Arctic Circle Norway and Morocco to the Sahara. They were all worth every penny, Charlie and the admin team were always there at the end of the phone to help and advise with great efficiency. The travel packages were Comprehensive and superbly presented and linked to very helpful you tube instructional videos such as what to pack how to download routes to your sat Nav, bike maintenance whilst away etc We had only past our tests 5 weeks before we set off on our self guided tour of Germany and France so we had a lot to learn. Before during and after we had access to truly professional guides who live and breathe motorbikes and have years of experience behind them. Not once did they ever make me feel I was being a pain even though I was probably asking alsorts of stupid basic questions. Each trip ran like clockwork allowing us to soak up the scenery, cultures and awesome motorbiking at the pace which suited us either alone or with the guides or fellow riders. By the time we had finished each trip we had a new circle of good friends who we still keep in touch with and go riding with in the UK. All our Magellan guides are now considered as special friends and we would ride again with them anywhere we are definitely booking another trip when COVID is done and look forward to joining up with our extended family of fellow bikers. My wife and I really can’t find fault with any element of the Magellan Trips they are a truly exceptional company with exceptional people. They’re dedication and hard work is very much appreciated by all the fellow clients I shared these trips with and although they may not all find time to complete a review they all feel the same as we do about Magellan.

My opportunity for a motorcycle trip came up quickly with a small window to make it happen. If I was going on a self guided tour through Europe, I had to act fast. Leanne pulled all the details together on three weeks notice. She connected me with Superbike Rental and assisted with additional hotels and transfers. Leanne sent me a digital guidebook, I booked my flight from Chicago to London and packed my bags. The trip was incredible! Six countries, 2300 miles in 12 days. Other than the usual challenges of solo traveling in new area, I had two big problems come up. One Eurotunnel related and one passport related. Ben was just a phone call away, on a weekend evening no less. With his help I was able to continue this fantastic trip without worry. His attention to detail went above and beyond! Both problems were solved. Booking with Magellan was the best thing I did. They exceeded their reputation!
