I ordered a cake for my sons baptism and was told to send a photo in- I showed the inspiration photo and they said they could do it. I looked on their Instagram page and they have some beautiful cakes on there so I didn’t even question it. Low and behold when I receive my cake- instead of a plastic premade bible I got a cross that was hacked in three and stuck on. Along with writing that looked like it written by Chucky- and not the beautiful calligraphy they have on their Instagram. I have complained and emailed and have been constantly ignored. It was such an eyesore that I couldn’t even display the cake at the baptism. On top of that I had to pay £93.50 which I thought was daylight robbery for the quality produced. This was the most disappointing experience and the fact that neither manager has acknowledged their mistakes nor their upsell is a joke.

AVOID. Sold a vanilla sponge with fruit. Arrived home with no delay and went to serve (birthday party) - cream and fruit had gone off. Went to return cake but deli section had closed, restaurant supposedly couldn't process return. Took down our name and told to call and someone would issue refund tomorrow. Have called repeatedly, hung up on, told can't do anything. Will be reporting to FSA as place is selling soured food and contesting payment through bank.

(Translated by Google) Sponge bread supposedly “homemade”, Portuguese confectionery style. In addition to being packaged in plastic in a box of cakes and with no expiry date, it was extremely dry and white. I made a point of calling to ask if it was the typical Portuguese sponge cake. Made in the form of clay with soul paper. I was told yes. We had to drive a long way to come here. Money badly spent. Better a pre-made cake bought at Aldi!!

Don’t waste your money .. they have no customer service. Waited for 25 mins to get the attention of a waiter (very skinny) by saying hello and how are you to him. He in return said, I can’t ??? The barista, what an incompetent person to have as the face for customers arriving. I came to the counter to get my order taken as I was sick and tired and hungry and he refused , he told me to sit down at the table, when I explained that I had waited too long already he shrugged his shoulders. Other customers also complaining about the lack of customer service and rudeness of the staff. There are so many other places to eat. I am at pico restaurant.. 2 mins walk and have now given my order and will give them my 50 / 60 pound spending money! I highly recommend you don’t give money to a business that can’t even produce a hello or a smile … give to those who want to give you customer service. Not much to ask for …
