Not normally one to write reviews. Brilliant service from start to finish, after having the service done on my a6 bitdi you can barely feel the gear changes as it is just changing so smoothly. Definitely the place to go to get the work carried out as ZF boxes aren’t sealed for life which Audi and BMW mention and ZF will tell you otherwise. Services: Oil change, Transmission

After getting a transmission repair on my old 5 series elsewhere and them making a mess of it I was then told of Mackies. So I booked the car in with them to take a look and get a report. As I feared a complete overhaul was required. So I left the car with them to do whatever was necessary to make it right this time. I was given regular updates as to how things were progressing and they also found a couple of other additional things due to the last place not fitting parts back on correctly. Since getting my car back the gearbox has never worked so well since I owned the car. I rarely write reviews like this as I'm in the motor trade myself and know how things can be with jobs like this. But kudos to Mackies for doing a great job. Service: Transmission
