Stayed there for a spa weekend. The rooms were fine for one night - looked like it needed a bit of tlc but nothing too bad. The hotel staff were great and the facilities were good too. The sauna room is very small but the swimming pool is a decent size. The grounds are lovely, people hold their wedding reception there. Overall, a nice stay with a lovely atmosphere

This was our second time visiting. The location is great as within driving distance for us, and our room was pleasantly surprisingly roomy. However, the spa booking experience was a nightmare. Despite us booking online months in advance, they changed the time for both my husband and me. I complained strongly and only then did they get me an appointment time back in 30min range of original booking. This was a huge inconvenience as we have a toddler on a routine — and what is the point of booking if they change the time without notifying you on a whim? This added more stress to what should have been a relaxing weekend away.
