    Rooms: I would say that rather than getting a feeling of grandeur when you think of a Four poster room they were very dated /worn and the positioning of the bed against the far wall instead of further in the room made it very difficult to safely move around the bed during the night of you wanted the bathroom Food & drinks: The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful

The afternoon tea was delicious and the location looking out of the veranda onto the river, bridge and church was idyllic. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you.

    Fantastic venue. What a beautiful location on the Thames River. The outside seating area has spectacular views of the church, the bridge and the river. It also has an outdoor bar to compliment the views! There is plenty of parking, it is easily accessible and easy to find. The building dates back to the 1600s hence it has a lot of character and original design. Stunning and charismatic interior throughout the hotel. The reception is immediately on the left as you enter. There are two restaurants inside however we dined in the terrace side with the river view. The food was incredible. Everything from salted butter bread to spiced curry to the roast lamb - superb dining experience. Overall highly impressed by the hotel, service, views and food. We didn't stay over so cannot comment on the room quality. The hotel is also dog-friendly!
