We wanted a new intruder alarm on our store premises and decided to support an independent local firm. Following our initial telephone conversations Mac suggested a site visit to understand our existing system and to provide further advice. Mark arrived punctually and provided a quotation and installation date that suited our availability. Hayley organised the installation at a date and time to suit, the install team arrived and commenced work to ensure the install was completed before we opened the doors for business. The work was completed before 10.30am and that included the clean up after themselves and left me with a fantastic product that was delivered exceptionally. I have no hesitation in recommending Mac Security Systems for a monitored alarm, they are an excellent, affordable and quality family run business.

We’ve used MAC on a few occasions now to make additions and rectify faults on our existing alarm and cctv system left by a previous installer. From initially calling the office to the engineers attending our house they have always been a friendly, down to earth and professional company to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble and I’ll definitely be using MAC in the future and recommending to others.

Brilliant service as per usual from MAC, prompt and reliable, and Hayley in the office always pleasant and chatty makes us feel valued every time we need to speak to someone even when we have a silly question. The team know there stuff and make us feel at ease, Taylor was such a lovely lad very pleasant and easy to talk to, he sorted our door sensor that had been knocked offline and serviced our system testing each security item. We had two CCTV systems and two alarms. Had issues with the alarms, caused by internet loss and power cuts, common around here. Constant call outs at £75+VAT. Servicing at £75+VAT, not necessary. Hayley in the office said we were due a service. I explained someone had been out not that long ago. She wouldn't have it, so a guy came out and said I remember this place I have been here recently. All he did was clean the camera's another £75+VAT. I refused to pay for someone coming out and just cleaning cameras. She was very rude and we were cut off. No alarms and no CCTV. Thousands in costs and now nothing works. They have remote access and control of the apps, so you cannot use it without them. Mark has been in touch to work things out and he is a decent guy as are the guys who work for him, but customer services are lacking. We have already paid out for a new system, with no servicing costs, apps that are free and smaller call out fees. There are systems out there that can be run independently with free apps and without all the additional charges. Improve customer services, reduce the charges and use systems with free apps and it will be five stars!
