I called Mick this morning to see if he was able to help me out with a broken front bumper mount on my lorry. He asked for some images which I sent over and he said it looked like something he could probably repair. I managed to get the vehicle to him this afternoon and he got to work straight away. Upon a further inspection of the damage he found further issues with the lorry that would need repairing. He was honest and offered explanations for all the extra work that was required which was acceptable and a reasonable price was agreed. Mick called me once the work had been completed and advised me other issues he’d found that he’d repaired as well. Mick was very polite throughout and is definitely somebody I’ll be in touch with first if I ever need similar work done to any of my other lorries. Thanks Mick, all the best.

Asked for quote for repairing and adapting a BBQ, the welder caused lots of surface scratches to the BBQ, broke the thermometer then quoted £700 for the work. I have subsequently had the work completed to a high standard for £130. Make your own decisions!

Had the owner Mike ring me up asking about the enquirie about getting some welding done. He asked me what’s up and didn’t even let me finish before interrupting and said where am I located. Told where I am ( I’m about an hour an 45 minutes away) witch I understand is not “close” but most mobile mechanics of some kind are willing to travel a fair distance but with added cost. He rudely responds saying I will have to take it to him as he’s not coming to me to do it. Although it would be difficult for me to get my car with (chassis rust issues) to him I would have taken it to him anyways on the back of a truck. But he just sighed and hung up the phone. Before I could respond. Was not a nice experience dealing with Mike. I dislike making bad reviews but there’s just no need for such a stinking attitude towards a customer! Going off some other before reviews it’s not the first time Mike has been unkind to customers.
