I bought a car from M Cars last year and it broke down less than three months later - two days before Christmas. The garage were spectacularly unhelpful and the warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on. I was unable to drive the car for FIVE MONTHS because it had so many faults and they refused to help. I looked into my legal rights and they were 100% responsible but they wouldn't pay for a garage near me to do the repairs, as they were obligated to. I ended up paying £150 getting it low-loaded back to them for repair and they said they would drop the car back to me. They then refused and threatened to start charging me storage fees if I didn't go and collect it, even though it had been there less than a week. When I got the car home I realised it had more dents and scratches than it went in with. They completely ignored my email complaint, despite photographic evidence. To be honest, it was so stressful I didn't have the energy to pursue it. The car then broke down again a month after they had 'fixed it'. A guy called Saleem was particularly aggressive and unpleasant. It was honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. Such a shame there isn't a no star option.

Bad experience here. The sales team were pleasant enough however I viewed a car based on their description. On inspection after wasting time, fuel and money to get there it was clear the car had accident damage. Unfortunately this was not described before attending and when asked about it any responsibility for how the car arrived to them and who was responsible was shrugged off. Unfortunately I wouldn't trust the quality of their vehicles or sales practice and would avoid them.

M Cars Surrey sold me a car knowing the gearbox was on the way out. I took the car just after I brought it to there on site mechanic and he made out he didn’t know what the noise/problem was. 1 month after his rubbish diagnosis and the car needed a 1,250 pound new gearbox. My advice to you is not to buy from them but if you do, go with someone who’s knows about cars because these people will do anything for the money.
