SKILLED AND TRUSTWORTHY These guys are fantastic. We'd had ongoing fuel system problems with our 2012 Vauxhall Zafira for about 6 months, suffering frustrating breakdowns or non-starting issues, on average, every three weeks. Our lovely local garage (Station Garage in Andover - also highly recommended) tried the obvious things, but to no avail, so suggested we take the car to M&B Service Centre, as they are the local experts in diagnosing problems with fuel systems. I should say so! I am very impressed at their diagnosis, their fairness, the way they kept us informed and their prices. Neil, who we dealt with, was absolutely straight up, giving us his personal advice every step of the way, just as if it was his own car. On initial diagnosis, it seemed most likely to be the fuel pump, so they ordered one in. But rather than sit back at that point and happily take our money, they noticed something strange the very next day (whilst waiting for the part to be delivered): the fuel level had dropped back, pointing almost certainly to air leaking in past the fuel filter housing. The apparent fault in the fuel pump valve was likely to be spurious. The fuel pump replacement was put on hold, a new fuel filter housing was ordered instead (from a breakers' yard, as Vauxhall have discontinued supply of this part) and the repair was carried out at a significantly reduced cost to us. We had to wait a while to be booked in (as they are a busy service centre and it was also over Easter) and then for the replacement part (as it had to be sourced & delivered from a breakers' yard), but we were kept informed and it was definitely worth waiting for. Although it's early days, I'm hopeful the fault will now be cured as it matches all the ongoing symptoms we'd had. And, if not, I certainly know where to head for knowledgeable, fair, trustworthy diagnosis and repair on specialist fuel system problems!

Booked in as windscreen washers not working and broken bonnet release catch. Arrived shortly after they opened - car looked at straight away - washer system fixed within 20 mins (which was the crucial element I needed fixed) and bonnet catch will be placed on order. Mechanic showed me how to release the bonnet without the lever if I need to access that area. Just amazing service - so impressed. I arrived expecting either a long wait or having to book several Ubers to get to and from the garage but was home within half an hour. It was so much appreciated and I will recommend this garage to everyone! Service: General repairs
