Excellent place for a day out. The house and history are very interesting and the grounds are massive. The volunteer guides are very friendly and helpful. We did not use the cafe but it looked very nice. We will definitely pay this place another visit in the summer.

We visited the hall with our grandchildren . Beautiful place lovely gardens & plant area very friendly staff However!! We went to the cafe wasn’t impressed at all food dreadful also wasn’t happy to be eating with 9 dogs around us . Saw large dogs licking tables then not cleaned before next customers ..my granddaughter was so nervous to he surrounded by all the large dogs , feel the courtyard is the place for the people who bring their dogs not in the cafe so unhygienic , won’t be returning to eat in cafe
